The Job: As the ICC Adult Program Manager, you will create, develop, and implement programs that are based on Israeli/Hewish holidays, lectures, and memorial ceremonies. 

Pay: $40 /hour
Hours: 30 hours /week

About the Israeli Cultural Connection:
The Israeli Cultural Connection (The ICC@JCC) is a department at the OFJCC that caters to the 30,000 Israelis in Silicon Valley. The ICC@JCC is a hub for the Israeli community within the OFJCC where you can connect to your Israeli identity, celebrate Israeli culture and explore what it means to be an Israeli Jew living outside of Israel. The ICC also offers the local Israeli and American Jewish communities the opportunity to deepen their ties to Israel—and to each other. The Core Duties:
  • Design, manage and grow, organize and execute ICC adult programs.  Ensure that program fulfills the OFJCC mission
  • Develop curriculum for various programs, including guest speakers and events
  • Develop budgets for all program areas and manage continual budget responsibility together with the Director of ICC.
  • Recruit, hire, train and evaluate program specific facilitators
The Essentials:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years of programing experience or more
  • Fluent in Hebrew and have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Israeli culture.
  • Fluent English speaker with strong written communication skills.
  • Excellent communication in both English and Hebrew and interpersonal skills.  Ability to communicate information clearly (written     
  •     and oral)
  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented; ability to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Ability and desire to work independently and as a team member with the community, other employees and members. 
  • Take initiative, mange competing priorities, problem-solve issues and work under pressure and time constraints
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain long-term relationships within the local community and volunteers
  • Sound fiscal management expertise.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint and any other software needed.
  • Ability to engage with the Israeli and American communities.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends when needed.
  • Positive, upbeat and enthusiastic about working in a non-profit environment
