Pay Range: $25-$27/hour

The Job: Are you highly organized and detail oriented? If so, this might be the role for you! As the HR Assistant you will be responsible for general administrative functions within the Human Resources (HR) Department. This role requires you to multitask in a face-paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail. As the HR Assistant you will also take an active role in planning and implementing multiple employee events. The HR Department works very closely as a team and you will be a key role in making sure that documents and HR tasks are processed, updated and tracked in a timely manner.

The Core Duties:
  • Support the administrative needs of the HR Department such as creating correspondence, preparing reports and documents, and a wide range of clerical tasks that require attention to detail
  • Take lead on various employee engagement events collaborating, planning and executing big and small events
  • Manage calendars and reserve conference rooms
  • Maintain compliance for all mandated trainings
  • Assist with Live Scan fingerprinting requirements and onboarding new employees
  • Reconcile credit cards, track HR metrics and budget
The Essentials:
  • 2-3 years of Administrative experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proven attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to learn business applications, such as Paycom, JazzHR, and Canva
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to problem-solve and work under pressure and time constraints
  • Commitment to fostering the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at the OFJCC
  • Ability and desire to work independently and as a team member with the community and other employees
  • Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic about working in a non-profit environment
