Pay Range: $25-$27/hour

The Job: Are you a highly organized individual who wants to work for a fast-paced and innovative non-profit? If so, come join our fun and exciting Marketing Team! As the Marketing Assistant you will provide administrative and office support for multiple team members, as well as contribute to the creation and distribution of promotional materials within a busy Marketing department. Some of your duties will include implementing administrative systems, monitoring administrative projects and taking on other tasks as assigned. There will also be opportunities to work on various aspects of the marketing and promotional materials including copywriting, newsletters and social media.

The Core Duties:
- Complete day to day administrative operations for the Marketing department such as filing, data entry and setting up meetings
- Light calendar management for Marketing department
- Submit vendor invoices and ensure they are paid in a timely manner
- Assist with promoting events by updating signage, posters and flyers around campus daily
- Distribute materials around the community periodically (some driving involved)
- Copy writing and editing as needed for marketing materials
The Essentials:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 1-2 years of administrative experience
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Experience working with layout and design software, such as Canva
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate information clearly (written and oral)
- Ability to problem-solve and work under pressure and time constraints
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize a large workload
- Ability and desire to work independently and as a team member with the community and other employees
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to external locations on occasion preferred
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with email marketing software, such as Mail Chimp or Constant Contact
- Experience posting on social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram
- Photography skills
- Video and photo editing skills
- Project management experience
